When you think of ERP combined with document management, you immediately think of invoice processing. The solution matches the (digitalised) purchase invoice with the open purchase order lines in Rootstock ERP. A multi-level approval scheme can be set up in which, for example, one department checks the received quantities and another checks the calculated prices. Differences can be approved manually or automatically and allocated to general ledger accounts and cost centres in Rootstock before a final approver signs off and everything is posted fully automatically.
For invoices for which no purchase order is available, AI helps determine the correct general ledger accounts and cost centres in Rootstock. And for exceptional invoices, you can pass the approval directly to a colleague or another department.
From the ERP section, it can show exactly which invoices are still in the pipeline and with whom they are sitting, handy for the period close. Once the invoices have been processed, you can view the history of the invoice documents from the creditor and the purchase order in Salesforce.
The document management system also safeguards your legal retention obligation, of course. One of the nice features of d.velop is that a PDF is also created from incoming and outgoing e-invoices, so they are readable for end users.
